Gatorade fuels the future of Aussie cricket

Coinciding with the start of summer and in the lead up to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Gatorade is rolling out a massive support program to fuel the future of Australian Cricket. Gatorade is an official partner of Cricket Australia and is the official sports drink of the Australian Cricket Team.

Jenni Dill, marketing director, said “Summer in Australia is synonymous with cricket – Australia’s favourite sport. Gatorade is a long standing partner of the Australian Cricket team and our program of support behind cricket this summer will help both our emerging and current Aussie cricketers win from within.”

The Gatorade television commercial, featuring a variety of emerging cricket stars will feature in the campaign. Young cricketers, like Jake Doran, who is featured in the commercial are part of the next generation of cricketers. Fuelled by 50 years of Gatorade sports science, they are determined to be better than ever before: “The best you’ll ever see haven’t even been seen yet.”

The commercial will be prominently placed during the cricket coverage as well as during coverage of other sports during over the Aussie summer. This will be supported by an extensive program of activations in retail outlets offering cricket loving fans the chance to win tickets to the cricket and money-can’t-buy experiences – like a ride in the crowd stopping Gatorade drink cart.
