Coles drops the price of bread by up to 34%

Coles claims it is helping customers cut their grocery bills even further, by slashing prices across its branded bread range.

In a move announced on 3 February, prices of bread brands – including Abbott’s, Tip Top, and Wonder White – will fall by up to 34%.

These price drops follow January reductions on Uncle Toby’s Muesli Bars and Sunrice 1kg and 2kg varieties, saving customers up to 20% off pantry staples.

Coles Managing Director John Durkan said, “Coles has now reduced the prices on thousands of products since 2011. Focusing on the products our customers buy most, we are making a real difference to the cost of living for Australian households. Compared to six years ago, Australian households can save an average of $570 by shopping at Coles”.
