Real chocolate milk creates unprecedented demand

The team from Coach House Dairy are thrilled with the response to their recently released Real Chocolate Milk. So great is the success of Real Chocolate Milk that – just three weeks after the launch – Coach House Dairy has put staff on a seven day roster to keep up with demand after repeatedly selling out of the new product.

Coach House DairyWith a nationwide smash hit drink on its hands, Coach House Dairy have doubled production. Woolworths has sold an incredible 40,000 bottles of Coach House Dairy Real Chocolate Milk in the three weeks to 12 June 2015, after almost trebling its initial order of around 15,000 bottles.

Real Chocolate Milk is selling well in stores of all types across the nation. According to Nulac Foods marketing and sales coordinator, Natalie McNamara, Coach House Dairy Chocolate Milk is available at independent outlets as well as major supermarkets and Nulac Foods are currently negotiating to achieve even wider P&C distribution. Ms McNamara told C&I WEEK that Coach House Dairy Chocolate Milk was “a great success, it’s proving very popular. Being the ‘real deal’ we are expecting that Coach House Dairy will be a game-changer in the flavoured milk category. Just as we have achieved success in the supermarket space, we are looking to P&C for growth. Coach House Dairy is a great fit for customers looking for a delicious, convenient drink on-the-go.”

In order to meet the increased orders, Coach House Dairy has invested in a second production line to begin operation next week and trucks full of fresh milk from Victoria’s beautiful Gippsland area are arriving at the Keysborough factory almost every day.

John Gommans, owner of Coach House Dairy, is keen to reassure customers that Real Chocolate Milk is coming to a store near them soon, “We knew from talking to customers at markets and shows around the country that they loved our Real Chocolate Milk but we are simply amazed by the reaction in the shops nationwide. All of us – from the dairy farmers to the chocolate blenders and the delivery drivers – are working flat out to get more bottles in store as soon as possible”.

Real Chocolate Milk is proving such a success that Coach House Dairy will be working hard to keep up with demand. As Mr Gommans says, “With many cafes and restaurants now hearing about Coach House Dairy and inquiring about orders, it looks like our seven day weeks will continue indefinitely”.

Launched three weeks ago, Coach House Dairy Real Chocolate blends a special mix of quality real dark and milk chocolates with milk from Gippsland cows. The resulting real chocolate and fresh milk blend delivers a smooth, creamy and indulgent chocolatey taste.

  1. Thankyou for making a chocolate milk that tastes like a chocolate milk I fell in love with overseas. I love your product and have to limit the amount of times I buy it, as I get migraines if I drink real chocolate milk too often. I don’t drink coffee and this is my new addiction. It is truly smooth and delicious. Thankyou.

  2. Hi my husband is a truck driver and has been buying the oz house chocolate drink for last year they have now stopped it at Woolworths our local which is northgate Woolworths in adelaide sa ,we would love to know where we could find it again, thanks for reading this….

Love your chocolate milk. Everything else tastes artificial by comparison. I hope your recent decision to merge with an Australian Company that sell to Asia Pacific, means Aussies are not going to miss out? I live 40 kms from my nearest supermarket that sells it, so cannot get it often. Have travelled to countries that only have UHT milk. Hope Australia isn’t going the same way in the current drought/milk crisis. We need more Australian owned small dairy co-ops.
