7-Eleven opens first fuel stores in Western Australia

7-Eleven Australia’s expansion continues in Western Australia, with the state’s first fuel store opening in Midvale yesterday.  A second 7-Eleven fuel store will open in Malaga on 30 June 2015. This brings the total number of stores in Western Australia to seven since the brand launched into the market on 30 October 2014.

The new fuel stores will offer consumers premium Mobil brand fuels. This is in addition to the $1 Coffee, Slurpee, Krispy Kreme, Moneygram money transfer services, Bankwest/Commonwealth ATMs, fresh food on the go, and convenience grocery range, that consumers have experienced in the five stores already open.

The Mobil brand premium fuels are engineered to work harder and improve fuel economy for the consumer. The premium fuels include Supreme 98, Extra 95, Special E10, Special Unleaded 91 and Special Diesel.

According to General Manager Operations, Natalie Dalbo, 7-Eleven is proud to be able to offer West Australian consumers the choice of Mobil branded fuels.

“As Australia’s first choice in convenience, we are always focused on providing customers with a market leading offer.  Mobil’s reputation for quality fuels is longstanding, and introducing these fuel products into Western Australia will ensure we continue to provide an outstanding offer to our customers,” Natalie said.

Natalie says the brand, its offer, and the stores’ Franchisees have been well received in Western Australia.

“Our customers’ favourite products are our famous freshly ground $1 Coffee offer, Slurpee and Krispy Kreme. Coffee and Slurpee sales in our pop up store for example are nearly double the average per day compared to the eastern seaboard average.”

“The retail offer we provide delivered by the fantastic Franchisees who provide our customers with an outstanding customer experience, has meant that our launch into Western Australia has been even more successful than anticipated,” she said.
