The Nader Petroleum Group has opened a second Urbanista store at its redeveloped BP Condell Park site in Sydney’s south west.
The opening comes just over a year since the family-owned and operated group first launched the Urbanista concept at BP Smeaton Grange, also in Sydney.
The redeveloped Condell Park site follows a similar design and fitout to Smeaton Grange. Urbanista is new take on the traditional convenience store, with a cafe style offering including barista coffee, cakes and hot food as well as a charging dock station for customers known as the ‘Recharge Bar’. Both BP Condell Park and BP Smeaton Grange also combine refueling facilities for cars and heavy trucks.
Eddy Nader, managing director of Nader Petroleum Group, told C&I Week the company has introduced new food items at Condell Park including a stone-baked pizza range, which is available in four flavours.
The Nader Petroleum Group operates five BP sites in total, two of which have been redeveloped as Urbanista. The group is understood to be planning to convert other sites to the Urbanista format from next year.
