C&I Retailing’s April/May magazine is out now!

The April/May issue of C&I Retailing is out now, with print editions of Australia’s leading Petrol and Convenience sector magazine making their way to subscribers around the nation.

In this issue, we speak to Haydn Tierney, director of Victorian fuel retailing group Vantage Fuel, with Face Time covering some difficult terrain with his family, as well as his love for competitive open-water swimming.

Our regular feature Store Review looks at the innovative and forward-thinking 365+ Convenience store in Melbourne, with some great ideas for jazzing up your own business.

Category features this issue will help you to find out all the latest trends and insights in flavoured milk, salty snacks, and tobacco.

The special feature on Parallel Importing will reassure you about a very grey legal area in our industry, with some perspective from industry representatives, as well as what you need to know about its legality before making an order from a wholesaler or from overseas.

After the disruption caused last year on the issue, editor Ben Hagemann also explores the sticky side of this year’s biggest underpayment scandal, in which the focus has turned onto Caltex, its franchisees, and their allegations about the company.

And, as usual, we have some of the latest products available for stocking in your c-store, ready in our Product News section.

It’s all happening here at C&I, as we launch into preparation for another great issue in June/July, in which our category features will look at Chocolate Bars, Sugar Confectionery, and Fresh Food. To get involved and provide some insight into any of these categories, contact the editor by emailing ben@13.55.141.78 with your expression of interest.
