Supermarket chain Coles is set to shake up both its business and its staff.
The shake-up is set to see two senior executives depart the business and a further 450 staffing roles made redundant.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald (SMH), the current CEO of Coles Express, Alister Jordan will leave the company at the end of 2019.
Coles Express convenience store business will be transferred to Greg Davis who is currently the chief operating officer, and now also the chief executive of commercial, the SMH reported.
Steven Cain took over as the boss of Coles in 2018 and the new staffing restructure is part of a “strategic reset” that is scheduled to be revealed in late June.
