Teenage robbers as young as 14 were charged yesterday after robbing a 7-Eleven store in Marsden, Queensland.

Police alleged that around 4am on Monday morning, four teenagers armed with knives entered the Chambers Flat Road store with their faces covered and demanded money and cigarettes, before fleeing in a stolen car. Police located the vehicle a short time later.

Two boys aged 14 and 15, and a 15 year old girl, will be charged under the Youth Justice Act.

All up detectives have charged six people, including an 18-year-old Bethania man, a 17-year-old Kuraby man and a 17-year-old Deagon man, each of whom were charged with one count of armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

It was reported that no-one was harmed during the robbery, however Marsden 7-Eleven declined the opportunity to speak with C&I Week to confirm.
