Nutella and doughnut lovers can rejoice: 7-Eleven and Krispy Kreme have teamed up with Nutella to bring their newest doughnut offering into stores across the country for a limited time.
The collaboration offers two doughnut varieties, the Krispy Kreme classic dipped in Nutella and topped with hazelnuts the doughnut filled with Nutella and dusted with icing sugar.
7-Eleven national merchandise manager Paul Church said bringing 7-Eleven was bringing two world-favourite icons together.
“We realised that there was a hole – pun intended – in our offering, so we’ve been working with our friends at Krispy Kreme and Nutella to develop these new products that we think our customers will get a bit nutty for,” he said.
Krispy Kreme CEO Andrew McGuigan said customers enjoy trying new products.
“We expect they’ll gather a cult following when we launch them. Their eyes are going to glaze over with Nutella-induced joy,” he said.
Ferrero Australia and New Zealand sales director Bree Vidovich said it was exciting to work with both brands.
“We’re so excited to collaborate with foodservice partners like 7-Eleven and Krispy Kreme to bring new innovations to foodservice that bring the unique flavour of Nutella to consumers,” she said.
Available now, the doughnuts will be delivered fresh daily into both 7-Eleven and Krispy Kreme stores and available until the 3rd of July and the 19th of June respectively.
