Australia Post has opened its latest Business Hub at Alexandria (Sydney), which consolidates customer service and sales, letter and parcel operations and delivery function with parcel collection facilities.
The Alexandra Business Hub, the largest in Australia, includes 24/7 parcel lockers and extended hours for customer collection point, available from 6.00am to 8.00pm.
Australia Post advised that a number of its Farmhouse Direct (online farmer’s market) customers have used parcel lockers to receive Farmhouse Direct product deliveries.
“Whilst parcel lockers are ideally suited to non-perishable items, they can also be used for perishable items, provided the customer retrieves the delivery immediately,” Australia Post said.
