The Australasian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS) has announced the agenda of the 2016 Convenience Leaders Summit, which will be held in conjunction with C&I’s Convention & Expo for the first time this year.
The Summit will be held on Wednesday, August 17 at the Clarendon Theatre at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. With the theme “Inspiring Change” the Summit will cover innovations and developments in the convenience store industry.
This year the event has a diverse list of speakers including industry specialists Leo Pucar, general manager consumer sales of Caltex and Nightowl CEO, Craig Urquhart. Both will share their valuable insights into the current trends and developments they see within their particular markets.
There will also be a keynote address from Scott Hartman, president of Rutters USA, which is considered one of the innovators and leading brands in the US convenience industry driving innovation and development.
Steve Simpson will also present his unique and practical insights on transforming corporate culture. His methods and concepts of UGRs (Unwritten Ground Rules) have assisted multiple large corporations around the world to cut through the complexity and create great workplace cultures.
The annual AACS Gala and Awards Dinner will follow the Summit.
