Dates have been locked in for the 2017 launch of the nation’s most comprehensive targeted report on the petrol and convenience industry.
The annual Australasian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS) State of the Industry (SOI) report is the result of extensive research to identify the issues, trends and developments affecting the industry.
The launch of the AACS 2016 SOI will take place over three days in May. The report includes performance highlights as well as future trends to watch for.
AACS CEO Jeff Rogut said he was looking forward to the report’s release.
“2016 saw some excellent growth in foodservice so we look forward to sharing the updated trends with industry as well as the strength of some of the associated categories such as beverages and snacking. Tobacco is still a major contributor and we will present ongoing changes seen in the category mix plus thoughts on where the industry overall is heading in this very competitive retail environment,” Mr Rogut said.
AACS Members are invited to attend the launch presentation which will be held from 8.30am to 11.30 am and include a light breakfast. The launch dates are: Melbourne; Tuesday May 2, Sydney; Wednesday May 3, and Brisbane; Thursday May 4.
These launch presentations offer a chance not only to get the latest information firsthand but also to ask questions and network with like minded colleagues.
For more information, see the AACS website or to RSVP email jeff@aacs.org.au by Friday March 31 2017 advising details of those attending and which city.
