Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) has opened an expansion of its bottling and warehouse facility in Queensland.
The expanded site is worth $165m and is capable of producing more than 90million unit cases for domestic and export markets, producing a range of sparkling and still beverages, dairy drinks, juices, teas, and alcohol.
This site is the only bottling and distribution facility for the iconic contour glass bottle and will take on the production of all of CCA’s dairy range.
CCA’s group managing director Alison Watkins said the new site was chosen for its combination of road and port access, as well as plenty of room to grow.
