A popular milk product has been recalled over ‘food-borne illness’.
Two Gippsland Jersey milk products were recalled by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) due to an issue with their production.
The 2L Gippsland Jersey light and full cream milk were sold in Woolworths, IGA, Foodworks and convenience stores across Victoria July 12-27.
The ACCC said: “The The recall is due to a processing error associated with pasteurisation”.
“Milk that is not pasteurised according to the standard may be associated with food-borne illness and decreased shelf life.”
The milk should be returned to the store of purchase for a full refund.
