New Zealand-based AFM Group will launch its range of Mr Brownie products in Australia in November through Woolworths stores nationally. The company is seeking an Australian convenience distributor for a range of its brands including Mr Brownie and its Macy and Tailor Snack Artisans ranges.
AFM Group General Manager Mike Fisher said they have been very pleased with the response from the market both locally and in Australia, particularly in the convenience sector. “We launched in New Zealand two years and the products been extremely successful,” said Fisher. “We launched in Australia nine months ago and we can see a huge potential in the petrol and convenience market.”
The Macy and Tailor Snack Artisans range, including the new Pressed Pretzels (RRP$4.99) and Veggie Crisps (RRP$4.99) are currently stocked in IGA stores nationally.
The Mr Brownie range in Woolworths includes an 8-pack (RRP $5). Fisher said the company also sees great potential for the Mr Brownie two-pack (RRP $2.50) to sell through convenience stores.
“We’re looking forward to meeting new faces at the C&I Expo in New Zealand next week,” said Fisher. “For anyone heading along to C&I NZ, come and sample our products at stand 31.”
