Heinz Australia has cut out the middle man, launching a direct to consumer delivery service.
The Heinz to Home online service allows consumers to choose from two pre-packed bundles options of the brand’s soups, sauces, condiments, baked beans and pasta, and have their orders delivered direct to their doorstep.
The first bundle, Winter Warmers, includes two cans each of baked beans and spaghetti, and three soups and is priced at $15 (ex. delivery). The second, Essentials Bundle, includes a ketchup and aioli sauce, four soups and two cans each of baked beans and spaghetti in tomato sauce and is $26 (ex. delivery).
Heinz has also announced plans to expand the range in the future to include limited edition products and merchandise, after seeing success with the Heinz Creamz ice cream range recently launched in the UK, the globally launched Heinz Tomato Ketchup red puzzle and the Ed Sheeran collaboration ketchip, Edchup!.
They are also running a promotion for free delivery on the first 400 bundles ordered in suburbs currently in Stage 3 lockdowns.
Kraft Heinz Australia CEO Simon Laroche said it the service offered consumers an enticing one-stop-shop.
“Our counterparts in the UK have experienced great demand for their Heinz online shop, and we wanted to offer similar convenience to our Aussie customers. The two Heinz bundles first available on our site have been carefully curated, and are Winter staples for many Aussies.” Mr Laroche said.
“We also understand that you can’t always get the products you’re looking for at the moment and that others have less opportunity to shop. The Heinz to Home online service allows you to these order bundles of Heinz products directly to your doorstep, or to someone you care about, so you and your loved ones can stay home and stay safe. We look forward to continuing to offer Aussies exclusive Heinz products and quirky limited-edition branded items via the e-store. Stay tuned!”.
Delivery will be via Australia Post and available in both metro and regional areas.
