Ampol will donate 10 cents from every Drumstick or Connoisseur stick ice cream sold during November to Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA).
Jo Taylor, Executive General Manager of Consumer and B2B at Ampol, said the money will go directly to SLSA.
“Our fundraising campaign for SLSA forms part of our national partnership and is just another example of how we engage our people and our customers across our network to make a difference to the community in which we operate.
Ampol has been a partner of SLSA since December 2020, and this is one of many fundraisers since the partnership formed.
Recently Ampol awarded two inflatable rescue boats (IRBs) to two regional surf life saving clubs in Goolwa, SA, and The Entrance, NSW.
Adam Weird, SLSA CEO, said the organisation is pleased to have Ampol’s support in helping deliver excellence across everything they do.
“Through Ampol’s partnership supporting front line services we will be able to reach more people with our public safety messaging campaigns through Ampol service stations and that will help save lives.”
Matthew Halliday, Managing Director and CEO of Ampol, said the partnership helps support Australia’s largest volunteer organisation and links with Ampol’s commitment to building connections to local communities.
“As we revitalise as Ampol we are committed to being a positive contributor in communities where we operate and to use our scale, network and employee base to improve the lives of all Australians.
“In addition, SLSA’s commitment to excellence and high-performance mirrors our own goals to continue to be the market leader and to deliver the best products, technology and service in our industry.”
