Ampol and Woolworths have unveiled their first rebranded MetroGo store in Wamberal, NSW, with the transition of existing stores to continue over the coming months.
The Wamberal MetroGo is located at 656 The Entrance Rd and offers more than 1400 products across the store, including over 300 Woolworths Own brand products.
Since partnering in 2019, Ampol and Woolworths have introduced 31 stores across NSW and Vic, with 19 new sites planned by the end of 2022.
Michelle White, General Manager – Metro Partnerships at Woolworths, said MetroGo is an evolution of the established Woolworths Metro brand that is formulated to support the unique customer missions within the convenience and petrol retail environments.
“MetroGo is dedicated to providing ultra-convenience to our customers. To date, our partnership with Ampol has helped millions of Australians top up their tanks and easily access last minute ingredients for dinner, healthy snacks, and fresh food.
“We’re excited to enter a new chapter with Ampol and look forward to welcoming Australians into Ampol Woolworths MetroGo nationwide.”
Jenny O’Regan, Chief Brand Officer at Ampol, said this is an exciting new step in its strategy to deliver convenient solutions for our customers who are on-the-go.
“Available exclusively at Ampol locations, MetroGo acknowledges the unique needs of customers who shop with us. Whether customers are looking for quality coffee and brekkie on the go, a variety of tasty and nutritious lunch options or key ingredients for tonight’s dinner, they can find it at Ampol Woolworths MetroGo.
“Together with Woolworths, we’re setting a new standard of service, product quality and range within our channel.”
Sounds great. Keep the price of your petrol as low as possible (lower than your competitors) and you will be on a WINNER.
