Kellogg ANZ has announced the appointment of experienced FMCG leader Peter Crane as its Research and Technology Director.
Crane’s most recent role was as Executive Director of Future Foods Company where he supported the development and establishment of start-up businesses and entrepreneurs with new food innovation and manufacturing practices.
Prior to that, Crane had a 20-year career at Mars Incorporated where he held a host of senior roles both locally and in Asia, including Research and Development Director for Mars Food Australia.
Crane is also key advisor to CSIRO’s Future Protein Mission Committee and was a member of the AFGC Health and Nutrition, and Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Committee.
Crane said he is excited to have the opportunity to lead the Research and Technology team and product innovation program at Kellogg ANZ.
Like many Australians, I’ve grown up enjoying Kellogg’s iconic range of cereals and snacks. As Kellogg heads towards 100 years in Australia, I’m excited to drive our growth portfolio through food development that continues to nourish consumers with our great tasting foods, while reducing environmental impact on our planet through the Kellogg Better Days promise.”
Anthony Holme, Managing Director of Kellogg ANZ, said Crane is an experienced and well-regarded leader who champions diverse thinking, collaboration, and team performance.
“In getting to know Peter, I’ve been impressed by his genuine passion for food innovation and ‘outside-in’ thinking to drive continuous improvement. I’m confident Peter’s expertise, combined with his focus on leadership and developing talent within his team will be a valuable contribution to Kellogg ANZ.”
