Jonny Harrison has been appointed as CEO of energy drink company Shine Drink, replacing Co-Founder Steve Chapman.
With over 21 years’ experience in commercial leadership and senior roles, Harrison spent 18 months as a senior executive at Australia’s largest membership-owned independent liquor retailer, Liquor Marketing Group, and nine years for Lion in various senior commercial roles.
Dr Sam Prince, co-founder of Shine Drink alongside Chapman, said he is incredibly excited about Harrison’s appointment.
“Jonny’s deep-rooted expertise in the beverage industry and proven track record of leading teams to resounding commercial success will undoubtedly propel Shine through its next chapter of growth.”
Shine Drink is currently ranged at over 7000 convenience and grocery stores across the country and has created $60 million in retail sales since its launch seven years ago.
Prior to Harrison’s time at Lion, he spent 10 years with PwC in both the UK and Sydney. Harrison also served on the board of directors for Remedy Drinks from 2019 to 2021.
Harrison said he is excited to join the team at Shine as the brand continues to expand and reach a wider audience.
“I firmly believe in the tremendous future growth potential of this trailblazing and inventive beverage brand that has established its own unique presence within the energy drinks market and beyond.”
