M&M’s has announced that Australia will be the first in the world to taste its new flavour, M&M’s Cookie Dough.
The new flavour, which was created at Mars Wrigley’s Ballarat Innovation Hub following the company’s $25.5 million investment into its operations earlier this year, features a traditional cookie dough centre, smothered in milk chocolate, and housed in M&M’s iconic crisp shell.
Ben Hill, Marketing Director at Mars Wrigley, said they’re seeing a rise in consumers not only wanting flavour variations from their favourite snacks and treats, but textural experiences as well.
“Our investment into our Ballarat Factory over the last few years have been focused on bolstering our chocolate and candy making capabilities; enabling us to create even more innovations and increase productivity.
“This world-first innovation speaks to what our Australian consumers love; the iconic combination of cookie dough and chocolate, as well as demonstrates our local capability to keep producing leading product innovations.”
M&M’s Cookie Dough will be available at convenience stores, independent retailers, and supermarkets from January 2024, with a RRP of $5.50.
