Aldi has been named Supermarket of the Year 2023 in Roy Morgan’s Customer Satisfaction Awards with an average customer satisfaction score of 95.7 per cent.
This marks the fourth consecutive year and Aldi has claimed the award and seventh time overall, which Simon Padovani-Ginies, Group Director, Aldi Australia, says is a testament to Aldi’s ongoing commitment to its customer experience.
“We are thrilled to once again be named Australia’s Best Supermarket of the Year by Roy Morgan. This is the fourth consecutive year that we’ve received the award, and at a time when shoppers are continuously seeking better value, we have never been more aware of the need to continue to deliver on our promise to offer Aussies the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices.
“Award wins such as these are achieved through the efforts of our great team and supply partners. Together with our partners, Aldi’s mission to provide a ‘Good Different’ experience to Australians remains stronger than ever. It is great to receive this recognition and see that our Good Different offering, which focuses on fresh, great value and high-quality products, continues to resonate with Aussie shoppers.”
Padovani-Ginies says the award win comes as Aldi continues to pass on the savings to shoppers, delivering $3.4 billion in savings to Australians in 2023.
“Aldi’s business model is about saving people money. We aim to cut out unnecessary costs and pass these savings onto customers,” he said. “We’re proud that we’ve been able to maintain our Price Promise and deliver real money back in the pockets of Australians when they need it most.”
“We recognise the great responsibility we have to our shoppers and the broader community. That is why Aldi’s commitment to our Price Promise remains firm – we won’t be beaten on the cost of your weekly shop.”
