During the night there was also a new induction into The Distributors Hall of Fame, with Wayne Henderson from Universal Candy, being only the second inductee into the prestigious category.
“Thank you to the group, board, members, staff. It is so much appreciated. I hit 43 years in April, so it’s just unbelievable. I can never leave this industry. My customers have basically become family. We go back a long way; I dealt with fathers, and now I’m dealing with their sons. I’m so honoured, thank you so much,” said Henderson in his acceptance speech.
