It’s just under two months away until the petrol and convenience industry’s premiere trade event, the C&I Expo, takes place.
Set to take place on 29-30 October at MCEC Melbourne, the expo has over 100 exhibitors spanning every category and service a retailer could need, from the latest F&B innovations, fresh food, display solutions, cooking and refrigeration equipment, forecourt technology, payment systems, gifts and accessories.
Safa de Valois, Group Publisher of C&I Media, said the expo is a fantastic opportunity for retailers to connect directly with suppliers and unlock new opportunities to grow.
“There is a wide range of products and services that can enhance any retailer’s business. By coming to the C&I Expo 2024, retailers have the chance to lock in exclusive deals with these suppliers that they might not have been able to otherwise.”
In addition, the C&I 2024 Industry Symposium will take place each morning before the trade show kicks off.
The C&I Industry Symposium will provide attendees with unique insights into how businesses, both retailers and suppliers, can implement changes to stay at the forefront of convenience retailing, with presentations touching on future trends, innovations, and data.
Mark McCaffrey, Pacific Retail Lead at NIQ, will be speaking at the symposium and will delve into the latest Australian mid-year consumer outlook and providing a strategic guide to navigating how to win in 2025 and beyond.
“It will benefit manufacturers and retailers looking to navigate the dynamic consumer landscape and stay ahead of the curve.
“In 2025, the P&C industry in Australia can capitalise on opportunities like expanding electric vehicle charging stations, enhancing digital payment and delivery services, and meeting the growing demand for healthier product options, all of which align with shifting consumer preferences.”
McCaffrey said that he is looking forward to discovering what other speakers and trade exhibitors have to offer.
“I’m eager to explore the latest innovations and solutions that will shape the future of convenience retailing, especially in enhancing customer experience and promoting sustainable practices, while networking with industry leaders.”
