IGA is set to open a new state-of-the-art supermarket in Sydney’s CBD offering fresh produce, specialty Asian products, liquor, and more.
The supermarket, located inside Quay Quarter Tower on 50 Bridge Street, will be independently owned by Jim and Lee, who already own a number of other IGA’s in Sydney, including IGA Roseberry and IGA Waterloo.
“We are very excited to open our doors in Circular Quay again after our original store closed at the end of 2017. We have worked incredibly hard to create a new supermarket that will provide value, convenience, and a variety of products for our city shoppers.
“From a large offering of convenience meals, to tailored Asian ranges across the supermarket, there is something for everyone at our new store,” said Jim and Lee.
The pair were well known for displaying their direct phone number on the back of their Circular Quay store so local shoppers could share their feedback with them.
IGA Quarter Quay will have a strong focus on delivering fresh and high-quality offerings across all departments and will include a wide selection of seasonal fresh product and healthy and organic products, speciality hard-to-find Asian products, and a liquor selection featuring luxury and vintage wines.
IGA Quay Quarter has its grand opening on Tuesday 15 October, and is located in the Market Hall on Retail Level 2, Quay Quarter Tower. It will be open Monday to Friday between 7am – 8pm and every Saturday between 8am – 8pm.
