With a little under three weeks to go until the 2024 C&I Expo and Industry Symposium, we look at what symposium attendees can expect.
The lineup of speakers at the symposium will provide unique insights into how businesses, both retailers and suppliers, can implement changes to stay at the forefront of convenience retailing, with presentations touching on future trends, innovations, and data.
The symposium will deliver essential and engaging content delivered in two short sessions, designed for busy, future-focused retailers and suppliers.
Theo Foukkare, CEO of the Australian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS), recommended attendees get down there early and potentially pick up some wisdom that can help them improve their stores and businesses.
“I believe that retailers should take every opportunity to hear insights from thought leaders, as their next big idea or project might just come from something they hear on the day.”
Day one of the symposium will feature Robert Tedesco, Vice President and General Manger, Global Merchant and Network Services ANZ at American Express, Brett Higgins, Managing Director of Boxx Brands, Mark McCaffrey, Pacific Retail Lead at NIQ, Theo Foukkare, CEO of AACS, and Yas Grigaliunas, Founder and Managing Director of Circonomy.
Day two will see the following take the stage: Ren Frisé, Executive Director of Digital, Data, and Technology at Enigma, Bradley Shaw, Manager of External Affairs and Communications at Philip Morris International, Chris Hicks, Chief Revenue Officer and Co-Found of Till Payments, and Skye Jackson, Area Lead, Growth and Change General Manager at 7-Eleven
The symposium, emceed by Deborah Cooper from Suntory Beverage and Food Oceania, is held each morning before the C&I Expo. It is an invaluable opportunity for businesses to gain knowledge, network with peers, and discover the latest technologies and solutions to drive their business forward.
Day one of the symposium will take place on Tuesday 29 October from 9am-11am, with registration and networking from 8.15am. Day two will take place on Wednesday 30 October from 10am-12pm, with registration and networking from 9.15am.
