Alka Power has continued its strong support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), signing over a cheque for $119,000.
As well as the donated money, Alka Power has once again rolled out its range of pink-branded bottles. Since 2018, Alka Power has been supporting the NBCF by selling its pink-branded bottles twice a year in March and October.
Steve Pettaras, Managing Director of Alka Power, said that his wife and business partner Rebecca feel very strongly about partnering with NBCF as Alka Power’s high pH alkaline water resonates with being in an alkaline state.
“Our small part of donating $119,000 will go directly into cutting-edge breast cancer research. This is something that the NBCF keeps us in the loop with.
“If we can share the messaging on our pink bottles and give people a better understanding of what we’re trying to do, that makes it even more humbling for Rebecca and I.”
Pettaras said he is always mindful of giving back to the community, and with this initiative, he has a double-edged sword.
“We raise money for the NBCF with every pink bottle sold, and they also have a great market presence in raising awareness with the beautifully bright pink bottles.”
Alka Power will have a stand at the 2023 C&I Expo on 19-20 October at the ICC Sydney with the cheque proudly displayed.
