Australia’s largest mobile virtual network operator, amaysim, was among the winners at the awards ceremony for the 2014 ‘Deloitte Technology Fast 50’ and the ‘Leadership Awards’ list.
amaysim received double accolades, coming in at number three in the ‘Leadership Awards’ and 13th in the ‘Deloitte Technology Fast 50’ at the ceremony held at the ASX in Sydney last week.
Now in its 14th year, the ‘Deloitte Technology Fast 50’ recognises and profiles high performing Australian technology companies that have achieved the fastest rates of annual revenue growth in the Asia Pacific region over the last three years.
The ‘Leadership Awards’ are bestowed upon ‘Technology Fast 50’ winners who have achieved over $50 million in revenue.
Speaking after the awards announcement, amaysim Managing Director Julian Ogrin said the telco was proud to be included amongst such a prestigious list of companies, “Being included in the ‘Fast 50’ and the ‘Leadership Awards’ validates our strong investment and focus on combining the right technology with the right people to drive our award-winning DIY, online-driven customer service model”.
Mr Ogrin said the awards were a testament to the amaysim team and “validates our often-repeated statement that we are from an operating perspective, where the carriers need to be five years from now”.
