Independent fuel retailer APCO has lodged a development application for an empty car yard in Wagga.
The application with Wagga City Council is to turn the card yard into the site of the company’s second NSW petrol station at the price of $3.5 million.
APCO director Peter Anderson told The Daily Advertiser he had been looking for a suitable site in Wagga since 2000.
The application includes a convenience store that would operate 24 hours per day and a cafe.
The time frame of opening for the new site would be dependent on approval from the council.
