Brainfood drink Ārepa has secured ranging in Ampol service stations at 450 locations across the country.
Since its launch in Australia in 2020, Ārepa has seen 800 per cent growth in product sales over the last 12 months, where it has been stocked at Coles, Woolworths, independent retailers, and online.
It also recently launched its brainfood beverages, Performance and Calm and Clarity (sparkling), into over 300 bp stations, with the company believing the expansion into the convenience channel is incremental to Ārepa’s retail growth strategy.
Angus Brown, Co-Founder of Ārepa, said the continued expansion into petrol and convenience stores is a testament to the company’s growth in Australia.
“As convenience and supermarket retailers create more room on their shelves for functional beverages, we’re excited to offer our grab-and-go brain food drink that’s all about boosting mental performance and enhancing wellbeing – naturally.”
The brain drinks, which are formulated in conjunction with neuroscientist Professor Andrew Scholey, contain unique ingredients, including neuroberries, a class of blackcurrant proven to maintain dopamine levels in the brain and enhance focus under stress.
Other key ingredients in the patented formula are l-theanine, an amino acid derived from green tea that is known for its calming effect on the nervous system, and pine bark extract, traditionally used as a natural alternative to ADHD medication for children and adults.
