Arnott’s has launched a new campaign to promote people making connections with each other over a “bikkie”.
The campaign has brought together two Australian musicians Dan Sultan and Isabella Manfredi to re-imagine the rock anthem Forever Now originally sung by Cold Chisel.
The TV commercial first aired last weekend, followed by the release of Dan and Isabella’s song to both Spotify and Apple Music.
Dan Sultan said he was thrilled to be working with Isabella on the Arnott’s campaign.
“It’s always awesome to sing a great tune with great artists like Isabella Manfredi. Forever now is such an iconic song. A real honour to have done it,” Dan said.
Isabella Manfredi said she singing with Dan was “simply awesome”.
“I had so much fun recording this classic Aussie track,” she said.
Arnott’s marketing director Nik Scotcher said Arnott’s chose to recreate the song because similar to Arnott’s biscuits, the song is a classic.
“We all shared the same passion in creating this campaign and our new purpose, which promotes the importance of togetherness. We believe it’s about celebrating the small moments shared with loved ones, the moments of real connection, as they become the ones we never forget,” he said.
The campaign will be supported by 30 and 60-second advertisements as well as a music video shared across social media.
