A Sydney based company has taken out the prestigious ECRM Buyers Choice Award.
Contract manufacturing and innovation specialist company Bevpax was awarded at the European Food and Beverage Program 2020 last week for their Survive Satchels.
The premixed water soluble vitamin and pro-biotic powder satchels were a big hit among the 49 retail category buyers and distributors at this year’s virtual event. The 7gm sachets are available in Pomegranate, Orange & Mango, Mixed Berry and Banana and Strawberry and make one 250ml serve each.
The award will mean Bevpax – who run manufacturing facilities in Vietnam, Malaysia and Australia and provide global private labelling, will now have the opportunity to participate in ECRM’s US Beverage Program later this month, which due to COVID-19 will this year be a virtual event.
Tim Xenos from Bevpax said it was an honour to win.
“It means now we’ve got recognition of the product itself. And it shows what buyers are looking for, which is immunity and hydration products that they can offer clients that are easy to consume.”
“Survive is all about pre and pro-biotics, vitamins and hydration. Each product in the Survive range is focussed on immunity, gut health and wellbeing.”
Mr Xenos said the US Beverage Program would be a great opportunity to introduce the product to a wider market.
“The program is a series of meetings where we will be meeting different buyers, including some for private labelling.”
“We have good exposure in the US market, but the Survive range will be better recognised now and that’s the type of product innovation buyers are looking to move towards,” he added.
“We’re an innovative company and we’re always looking to whats at the forefront of the market for our own brands and our private label clients.”
Bevpax will also take part in ECRM’s European Food and Beverage Program in March next year.
