David Jones and bp are expanding their network, announcing a further 21 stores will open by the end of the year.
The new stores will be located across Sydney and Melbourne and will bring the number of dual-branded sites to 31.
Each store is catered to urban customers and range David Jones Food options for both food for now and for later, pre-made meals and groceries. As well as the Wild Bean Café and premium fuel offers.
Seven stores will open in Melbourne, in Merrifield, Clyde, Epping, Caroline Springs, Elthan, Greenvale and Kingsway. While Sydney will gain 14 stores, in Kellyville, Marsden Park, Seven Hills, Willoughby, Thornleigh, Mosman, West Ryde, Caringbah, Engadine, Peninsula, Ourimbah, Asquith, Penrith and Sydenham.
All stores will also offer a selected range of David Jones Food via UberEats, following a surge in customer demand at existing partner sites.
Vice president sales and marketing at bp, Brooke Miller, said it furthered both brands’ commitment to ensuring customer safety during the pandemic.
