BP and Qantas extend loyalty partnership

BP Rewards and Qantas Frequent Flyer have extended their loyalty partnership, allowing Qantas Points to be earned on fuel and in-store purchases at BP service stations.

Since launching in 2020, the partnership has enabled members to earn billions of Qantas Points, with business owners also benefiting through Qantas Business Rewards and BP Plus, providing a way to earn points on business-related fuel expenses.

Andrew Glance, CEO of Qantas Loyalty, said BP had become one of the most popular ways for members to earn points.

“Two-thirds of all Qantas Points are earned on the ground, and over the past five years, BP has become one of the most popular ways for our members to boost their points balance. Millions of reward seats have also been booked in that time, and this extension will unlock millions more dream holidays for our frequent flyers.

Paul Augé, Senior Vice President of BP Australia and New Zealand, said the partnership continued to deliver value for customers.

“BP and Qantas Frequent Flyer will continue driving more value for our customers. We know many drivers are choosing where to fill up based on loyalty programs. With Qantas by our side, BP customers can keep reaping the rewards on everyday purchases that could help take them around the world.”

To mark the extension, BP Rewards and Qantas Frequent Flyer are launching a promotion, offering customers the chance to win fuel and flights every hour between 12 March and 8 April.

BP Rewards members who scan their card at participating locations during the promotion will enter a draw to win a $100 BP fuel voucher or 30,000 Qantas Points every hour.
