Cadbury has made their Roses even sweeter this Mother’s Day, donating $50,000 to The Sebastian Foundation to help continue their advocacy work for vulnerable women and children.
The money will be put towards renovating the kitchen of a women’s and children’s refuge. The foundation, founded in 2013 by celebrity couple Guy and Jules Sebastian works with disadvantaged and marginalised families and young Australians.
Guy and Jules Sebastian said the donation would help provide a safe space for those in need.
“We send a huge thanks to Cadbury Roses for their support. We’re so thankful for the generous donation that will help us continue to build a safe and happy place for mothers and children in need,” they said.
Cadbury are also calling on Australians to show they care this Mother’s Day by offering their own random acts of kindness and thank the mums or mum-figures in our lives.
Cadbury Senior Marketing Manager Kathy De Lullo said although it would be a very different Mother’s Day this year, we should all pause to thank the women in our lives.
“Mother’s Day is going to be very different this year. It comes as a reminder of the importance of the bond we have with our Mother’s at a time when family has never been so important. We hope Cadbury Roses inspires Australians to ‘say thank you’ to the important women in their lives at a time when we’re physically distanced from one another.”
Cadbury has also launched a limited-edition gift box featuring a painterly, floral design by Australian artist Sarah Hankinson.
