Supermarket giant, Coles, has launched a new delivery service called Delivery Plus.
The subscription-based service means that customers can pay a flat monthly fee to receive unlimited home delivery orders throughout their subscription period.
When customers first sign up for the service, they will receive their first month free of charge, with automatic payments commencing the following month.
As part of the launch, Delivery Plus will also cover the fees for unlimited Same Day Deliveries.
Coles Online General Manager Karen Donaldson said online shopping was becoming increasingly popular for time-poor customers.
“On average, the cost of a Coles Home Delivery window is $10, depending on location, time of day and length of delivery window chosen,” she said.
“Delivery Plus will allow customers who regularly shop online to save hundreds of dollars a year and help them manage their family budget by knowing exactly how much they will pay on Coles Online delivery each month.”
Customers will be able to subscribe to one of two plans, the Any Day Saver ($19 a month), which offers unlimited deliveries all week, or the Mid-Week Saver ($14 a month), which provides deliveries on to Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
For both plans, customers must spend over $100 in a single transaction and choose an available delivery slot on a day included in their plan.
Customers can cancel auto-renewal of their subscription any time and still receive the benefits until the end of their subscription period.
