Four’N Twenty has launched a new range of bite-sized party pies designed for sale through convenience stores nationally.
Four’N Twenty’s new SLAMS are bite-sized party pies that will be ranged in the hot food warmer and sold in 110g packs of 8, for around $3,.
According to Stuart Smyth, Four’N Twenty GM marketing & innovation, SLAMS fill a consumer need that is currently unmet in the pastry format. “Research shows that more consumers are snacking more often, and they are increasingly looking for a hot savoury snacking option away from home, particularly in the morning and afternoon.”
Mr Symth says, “SLAMS taste great, and they are easy to eat on-the-go. You can share a pack with friends as a tasty treat, or slam them down for a satisfying snack”.
SLAMS come in three flavours, Classic Beef, Chicken, and Hawaiian Pizza and are designed for people wanting to slam down a hot, tasty snack on-the-go. They are baked, not fried, and have no added MSG.
“SLAMS are a highly competitive snack offer compared with anything else on the market,” Mr Smyth said.
Also highly competitive, Melbourne skateboarder, Lachie Bouillir, 18, tried out the new bite-sized party-pies, SLAMS, during a video shoot for Four’N Twenty at the St Kilda Skatepark. Lachie has been skateboarding seriously for about four years and is on the Globe team, and competes in national competitions around the country. His verdict on SLAMS? “Yeah. GOOD!”
