PepsiCo have just revolutionised snacking, combining two of their greats into one refreshing package for Doritos Mountain Dew.
The limited edition snack infuses Mountain Dew’s lemon, citrus tang flavour into Doritos’ corn crunch.
The flavour has been a long time in the making, with C&I reporting in 2014 that PepsiCo had been trialing the flavour on college students in the US.
Doritos Brand Manager, Eric Burke said flavour was a global first and they chose Australia for the launch because of our love of both products.
“To create this unique flavour, we partnered with our beverages and research and development teams to ensure we got the flavour just right – and we think our consumers are going to love the result!,” he said.
The unique flavour hit is available from today in 7-Eleven stores across Australia, in Costco from late April and will be available in supermarket, petrol and convenience stores from mid-July.
Doritos also recently added to the Food Truck range with Garlic Bread flavoured crackers and their Flavour Shots range of flavoured nuts and corn.
