Eastcoast Beverages invests $4 million to grow operations

Eastcoast Beverages has invested $4 million to upgrade its juicing and bottling facilities to keep up with increasing demand for squeezed juice.

Eastcoast Beverages, a third-generation family business, has experienced 20-30 per cent YOY sales growth, driven by health-conscious consumers prioritising natural, vitamin-rich drinks.

The company has invested in state-of-the-art technologies that have boosted production capacity, doubling the speed at which 2 litre bottles are filled, now 120 bottles per minute, and increasing the speed at which 4 litre bottles are filled from 15 per minute to 45.

The expansion also includes the introduction of a robotic palletiser, reducing manual handling, as well as high-speed conveyors, advanced cleaning systems, and a new juice line, all of which enhance production capabilities while reducing waste and improving sustainability.

Eastcoast Beverages grows, juices, and bottles on-site and supplies its range of 40 different juice blends to Woolworths, Coles, and independent retailers across the Eastern seaboard.

Samuel J Lentini, General Manager of Eastcoast, explained the effort the company goes through to ensure the commitment to quality.

“We really do go the extra mile to produce great tasting fruit that results in great tasting juice, and we control the entire bottling process to make sure that the juice is delicious, nutritious and proudly preservative free.”

Community is at the heart of Eastcoast, where it welcomes visitors to the farm to pick their own fruit, tour the factory, and enjoy lunch at the on-site café.
