Doritos has launched a clever marketing campaign, playing off the popularity of former MAFS star, Martha Kalifatidis, who was recently photographed wearing a cheesy finger dust smeared t-shirt.
The iconic chip brand has mimicked her look and released a limited-edition line of t-shirts dubbed Doritees, which are available to purchase online for $20.
Vandita Pandey, Chief Marketing Officer, is encouraging Doritos fans to flaunt their cheesy finger stains.
“It’s clear that Australians are proud to wear their favourite snack on their sleeve – literally, so we’re making it a little easier to get the Doritos look for less with the launch of Doritees.
“It’s time to celebrate cheesy finger dust as a fashion statement rather than faux pas – and we’re doing it at a fraction of the designer-inspired cost.”
