Vegemite has put the call out to the next generation of Happy Little Vegemites to audition for a remake of its iconic advertisement.
The remake comes as Vegemite gets set to celebrate its 100th birthday on 25 October and is giving young Australian’s aged six to 12 the opportunity to put their ‘Mitey-est’ foot forward for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
Jess Hoare, Marketing Manager, Vegemite, says that the original Happy Little Vegemite advertisement has cemented itself as a part of Australian culture, and now it’s the next generation’s turn to be a part of this iconic brand’s history.
“Vegemite has spread so much joy and happiness across the nation over the last 100 years, and we’re honoured to raise a toast to the Aussie icon by remaking the Happy Little Vegemites advertisement. We can’t wait to see the remake embraced by Aussies for many more years to come,” she said.
