IGA was recently praised for its in-store service and for making it easier for customers to shop local after being voted as the number one for the fastest all-round service in A Current Affair hidden camera investigation. The investigation highlighted its recent Price Match initiative and continued commitment to delivering retail excellence in all of its local stores.
A spokesperson for IGA told C&I that the price match initative was, “in a direct response to customer feedback, IGA’s Price Match has been developed by studying customer shopping habits to identify the most popular everyday products. In a bid to further encourage and promote the benefits of shopping local, the everyday prices of these products will be matched on a weekly basis, with stores involved also continuing to offer the promotions, wide brand ranges and friendly service that each store is known for”.
