The Australian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS) will host two information sessions to provide an overview of its recently launched The Commercial Academy for AACS.
The Commercial Academy for AACS was formed in partnership with Hexis Quadrant to provide AACS members with access to a range of unique, industry-specific training programs designed to help improve operational efficiency, drive growth, and achieve business goals.
Theo Foukkare, CEO, AACS, has said that The Commercial Academy for AACS will be a vital resource for the convenience industry and encourages all members to register for the upcoming information sessions.
He explained that the program has been specifically designed as an affordable way to upskill both retailers and suppliers in their commercial capability to achieve better commercial outcomes with their business partners.
“Through discussions with retailers and suppliers, it quickly became apparent that a lot of the training programs available are very expensive and in a lot of cases, only available to the larger multinational organisations.
“AACS is striving to provide all members, irrelevant of size, access to affordable high-quality learning and development modules to upskill the convenience industry’s commercial capabilities.
“I personally am very excited to be working with Nick and the Hexis Quadrant team in striving to achieve these objectives,” he said.
There will be two separate information sessions – one for retailers and one for suppliers – to provide an overview of the courses, to discuss the first open training sessions, and to answer any questions that members might have.
Retailers can register here for the first information session, which will be held on Wednesday, 3 May from 10-11am.
Suppliers can register here for the second information session, which will be held on Wednesday, 3 May from 11am – 12pm.
