Krispy Kreme’s latest flavours are an ode to South Australia’s finest.
The doughnut maker has teamed up with SA based Robern Menz to bring back one of its most popular flavours, starring the state’s beloved FruChocs.
The FruChocs doughnut was originally developed four years ago and launched to coincide with FruChocs Appreciation Day and has been revived due to popular demand. It features an Original Glazed doughnut with a chocolate coating and a peach and apricot ‘kreme’ centre, topped with three FruChocs.
It’s available now in OTR stores across South Australia as either a single, four or 12 pack.
Krispy Kreme SA General Manager Mark Higginbottom said he was delighted to bring back the popular flavour.
“Customers have been asking us to bring them back for a while and we’re delighted to see this modern classic Krispy Kreme return to the shelves of OTR stores, said Mr Higginbottom.
“We’re always aiming to surprise and delight our customers with new products and limited releases, and we know this one will be particularly popular. “These doughnuts are 100% South Australian with the FruChocs® manufactured at Robern Menz’s factory in Glynde and the doughnuts are made at our factory store at West Croydon.”
Robern Menz Marketing Manager, Polly Love advised fans to get their fix quick, saying the limited edition was set to sell quickly.
“Based on our previous limited time only releases with Krispy Kreme, we know FruChocs® fans across the state are going to be running to get their hands on them,” Ms Love said.
