Krispy Kreme will begin delivering fresh doughnuts daily to select bp stores in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia from 10 April.
The rollout, which has an official launch date of 7 May, expands on the company’s existing partnership with BP in New Zealand, where fresh doughnuts are already stocked daily. The Australian expansion will feature custom-designed cabinets in stores, offering what the companies describe as a “store within a store” experience.
Michael Darling, Chief Customer Officer at Krispy Kreme, said by expanding its reach to even more BP locations, they’re making it easier than ever for customers to enjoy the doughnuts fresh – never frozen and thawed – whenever the craving strikes.
“We’re passionate about ensuring every doughnut moment is a joyful one, and this rollout means more Aussies can experience that melt-in-your-mouth sweetness, whether they’re grabbing a quick snack on the road or treating the whole family.”
Lisa Archbold, Vice President of Mobility and Convenience for Australia and New Zealand at BP, said their customers are looking for quick, delicious food when they’re on the go.
“By expanding our collaboration, we’re bringing our customers more of what they’re craving; Krispy Kreme’s iconic doughnuts. Now, a stop at BP will be a little more special and our customers will be able to see and taste the freshness, variety, and quality of Krispy Kreme for themselves.”
The move follows consumer research showing increased demand for fresh bakery products, particularly among commuters and those seeking convenient snack options.
