Krispy Kreme and Cadbury have united to launch two new doughnuts available exclusively through 7-Eleven for a limited time only.
The new Krispy Kreme Cadbury Cherry Ripe Filled is a shell shaped doughnut that is dipped in a rich Cadbury Old Gold dark chocolate blend. Filled with Cherry Ripe inspired cream, the doughnut is decorated with a Cadbury Cherry Ripe bite and red truffle icing.
The Cadbury Cherry Ripe Dipped is a reinvigorated version of Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed doughnuty. Dipped in a blend of Cadbury Old Gold dark chocolate, it is then dunked in a mix of cherry coconut pieces and topped with shredded coconut and a choc ganache drizzle.
Paul Chatfield, Vice President of Marketing ANZ at Mondelēz International, said that this is the first time the Cherry Ripe will be available as a doughnut.
“We’re excited to see Cherry Ripe lovers relish in the flavour they know and love in a new and exciting way.”
Adam Jacka, Marketing Area Lead at 7-Eleven Australia said that Krispy Kreme’s are always one of the most popular treats at 7-Eleven stores.
“This new collaboration will be the ultimate indulgence for everyone, perfect for a morning sweet treat or afternoon pick me up.”
Both flavours are now available online and in-store at Krispy Kreme and in 7-Eleven stores for a limited time only. And from 2-29 May shoppers can buy a Krispy Kreme Cadbury Cherry Ripe doughnut with a 7-Eleven regular coffee for $5.
