Ampol Woolworths MetroGo has opened its 50th store, located in South Melbourne the store is the first to feature an in-store Sushi Izu.
Combining Ampol’s service and fuels, Woolworths’ fresh food and top-up essentials, the South Melbourne store will be open 24/7, and will also feature an in-store Boost Juice which will be open 7am-7pm.
Kate Thomson, Executive General Manager, Retail Australia, Ampol, said the opening of the South Melbourne store is yet another key milestone for Ampol’s retail business.
“Since its inception, the Ampol Woolworths MetroGo format has delivered a new standard and an exciting proposition for our on-the-go customers, and we look forward to welcoming customers to our new South Melbourne MetroGo store.”
Sushi Izu, a long-standing partner of Woolworths, will offer sushi that is made on-site and caters to those on the go with rolls and packed tray options.
