Queensland-based convenience chain NightOwl is set to open four new fuel sites, after reaching 70 stores last month.
The expansion was announced by NightOwl CEO, Craig Urquhart, at the AACS Leadership Summit, held in conjunction with the C&I Expo, last month in Melbourne.
Mr Urquhart told attendees during his presentation at the summit the four new sites were “very exciting for the NightOwl brand”. It is understood the new sites will take the number of fuel outlets operated by NightOwl to six.
NightOwl is the largest standalone convenience store retailer in Australia, with 70 stores, including two stores outside of Queensland in northern NSW. Last year the chain celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Other presenters at the AACS Leadership Summit included Scott Hartman, president of Rutter’s USA; author and consultant, Steve Simpson; and Leo Pucar; GM of retail sales, Caltex Australia.
