The Chocolate Yogi has issued a recall of Oscar Caramel Mylk Chocolate 15g due to the undeclared presence of milk.
Oscar Caramel Mylk Chocolate is marketed as being dairy free, soya free, gluten free, vegan and palm oil free, with no added cane sugar, nuts or peanuts.
The product has been available for sale at independent food retailers including IGA in NSW, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.
It has also been on the shelves of health food stores in NSW, ACT, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, SA and WA. As well as lolly shops in Queensland and from online food retailers Australia-wide.
The affected chocolate bars have a best before date of 11/06/21.
Food Standards Australia has said: “The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (milk).
“Any consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.
“Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
