Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today announced a new Major Partnership with CoCo Joy.
A division of global FMCG brand, FAL Food and Beverages, CoCo Joy has signed on as the new Major Partner from 2016 to 2018. Originally on the sleeve, CoCo Joy have upgraded their support to the front of the jersey.
CoCo Joy contains a full range of all-natural coconut based products, including coconut water, ice cream, and oil. CoCo Joy coconut water is all-natural, pure made from green coconuts and contains no added sugar and no preservatives. Members and supporters will have the opportunity to purchase the CoCo Joy products at home games, as well as participating in a range of fan engagement activities.
Sea Eagles CEO Joe Kelly said CoCo Joy’s upgrade from Sleeve Partner to Major Partner is a vote of confidence in the Club’s future.
“CoCo Joy is a great brand with real synergies with the Sea Eagles – fun, family and health orientated,’’ Kelly said.
“Today marks 69 years to the day since Manly Warringah were granted entry into the NSWRL competition, so to announce this major partnership with CoCo Joy on the most significant date in our history is a great occasion.”
FAL Food and Beverages CEO Tim Xenos said FAL is a global company with a vision and commitment to create healthy and innovative food and beverage products.
“We develop brands that provide consumers with a real choice. Our hero brand, CoCo Joy, is focussed on bringing a healthy lifestyle to consumers globally as well as a variety to the industry with its wide range of healthy coconut food and beverages,” Xenos said.
“Our partnership with a world class team like the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles is a vital step in this commitment.”
Mr Xenos feels the exposure of the CoCo Joy brand within the highest levels of sport across Australia and the world will reinforce the essence of what CoCo Joy is.
The Club is also pleased to announce that Kyocera is upgrading their support from Shorts Partner in 2015 to the jersey in 2016. Today’s announcements of CoCo Joy (centre front) and ZTE (sleeve), combined with the continued support from Daikin (top back), Kyocera (bottom back), URM (sternum) and ISC (kit partner), makes the 2016 Sea Eagles jersey the most lucrative in the Club’s history.
The Club is now focussed on securing a Shorts Partner to close out the 2016 players’ apparel.
